Born and bred in London, Vanessa attained a degree from London University before starting her career in IT recruitment and head hunting. Vanessa moved to New Zealand in 1999 with now husband Carl Johnston. Dwayne Turnbull

Fraser Skinner
Fraser is a 35 year resident in the Wakatipu Basin, with a strong background in tourism, marketing and hospitality. His initial move from Dunedin was to pursue an interest in skiing, which ultimately saw him as co-Director of the Coronet Peak Ski School, an examiner for the Ski Instructors’ Alliance and a member of the NZ Demonstration Team at the World Interski in Zao, Japan. This strong interest in skiing still remains and is mixed with a myriad of other sporting interests, most notably tramping and climbing.
Fraser’s most public role was as General Manager of Destination Queenstown, the marketing body he had help establish in the 1980s and he has always been involved in community organisations of one kind or another. He is currently involved with the Arrowtown Promotion & Business Association. Probably the most satisfying involvement however was as a Director of the 50K of Coronet, an international endurance ski race, which over its five years, raised $1million for the Cure Kids charity, established for the first year of the event.
Fraser’s work ethic has always been to adhere strongly to honesty and integrity, with a corresponding focus on his own strong beliefs in preserving and directing the growth of the region for the benefit of future generations. The involvement in real estate is another exciting and challenging facet of a varied and successful career in the changing environment of the Southern Lakes.

Tasha moved from Christchurch to Queenstown in 2002 with a background in Property Development/Sales, Marketing and Event Management. Tasha took up a role as Development & Sales Manager at Lakeside Estates.
